Need a wet or dry vacuum cleaner ?

Lidl's have them in stock just now, £35 and the suction's great.

We have gully drains at the back of the house and it's been difficult to get all the debris out, the drainpipe goes down 4 feet and there's a sump at the bottom.

In the past I've just tried to scoop up the small stones and dirt with a spoon attached to a long stick but this new cleaner is the business, it has a 5 gallon receiver and a safety valve so you can't overfill it.

You should see the muck I've just taken out, there were pebbles, small pieces of slates, the inevitable crisp packets etc, if that lot had found it's way into the main sewer and blocked it the job would be a nightmare to do.

You get e 3 year warranty with the cleaner too.
