Please can someone explain how Len Goodman gets a deciding vote when it the best of three.
If there are two couples and three judges there is no way that a deciding vote will be needed.
If one couple gets two votes and the other couple gets one vote then surely the couple with two votes wins. No need for a casting vote

It is the best of four---so if it is two votes for each couple Lens vote is the decider.

That is not how it is put over. Every week it is said that Len has the casting vote.
You do not get the casting vote out of three.
Anyway, I think it was last week, one of the couples had 2 votes, the other 1 vote. Len gave his vote to the couple with one vote and they won. To my mind this made it a draw

It makes a huge difference the couple Len saves has a chance to live another day and even win the series.

Len is one of the judges and therefore has a vote---so it is out of 4 not 3.

That's why Len's is the deciding vote. If there were three judges you wouldn't need a deciding vote!!
