That is brilliant then Linda, so it is only your own misgivings. Such a shame babies have to grow up it would be lovely if they could be three year olds forever! My youngest will be 49 next month, I am estranged from her as we have never really bonded because of the situation when I lost her younger brother who died at 2 months old, when she was just 18 months old and her father and maternal grandmother decided I should go to work full time and she should be cared for by a neighbour who had a little boy just 6 months older than her. I tried to make it up to her but she was never ever a cuddly child not like my Steve. I find it hard as I still love her as much as Steve but it also means I do not get to see my only granddaughter who is now 13 and a half. They are both like strangers to me unfortunately.

I do wish little Michael well tomorrow and Meg I hope the girls are going on ok.

I'm so sorry Moyra, that is so sad and must be very tough. Hugs. x

Thank you for the kind wishes for Michael. I wish I had Meg here because my sewing is dreadful! I'm now off to iron some of that sticky tape stuff on and hope that works.

Shame, I am not near you or I would have done them for you. Still it is good that you are being occupied, only trouble is it makes you dwell on the reason you are doing them.

It seems a lifetime ago since I stitched on labels both when they started school and every time they outgrew their clothes then of course when they went up to Comprehensive and beyond. Gosh when they go to big school and need all their gym and rugby shirts etc done as well as uniform and blazers, baratheas, etc. I'll never forget it!

Many years ago someone told me how to get labels for both children as one set, thus saving rather a lot of money, by requesting both names and then our surname.

So for my daughter I just had to fold over or cut her brother's name out, and for my son just cut her name off.

I still had to sew them on though.

I do hope the Spanish court is going to allow the mother and father of Aysha King to be with him again and not to insist on them be made to come back home.

Anyone heard any further news?
