The Suffolk Punch horses almost became extinct just after the war, only saved by one farmer who took a liking to them and started breeding them.

I'm not going to be able to breed much longer, so unless more people are prepared to get involved, and do it properly then I doubt we'll have the dogs in 20 years and thats the plain truth of it. All sorts of people claiming to breed them, but they are not from the authentic lines and its purely an exercise in making money and getting their name in lights.
