Well, Oh Great Tree Hugger , there's a story there!

It turns out (after a conversation with his wife ) that it is a Parakeet(sp) and is one of three that 'live' locally, so there'll be no catchings going on after all. Wouldn't mind, but I got really concerned and spent my lunch hour looking for a cage!!!

ashlady there are quite a few wild parakeets in wales too
they can be heard but very rarely seen
i,ve been told this is quite common all over the uk now
