Zane is a star!

Hi,

Last night I took Zane to training. I haven't been for a while as I have to wait for my Mom to get here to babysit for me. So it's about 2 months (I think) since Zane had formal training in a class. Obviously training has been ongoing at home.

He did everything right first time. recall, retrieve, send aways, distance control were all spot on. I'm really proud of him. Maybe finally everything is falling into place.

I know he's been able to do these things before now but he's never done all of it correctly at the one time. He either gets bored and plays up a bit (which is amusing to watch - I know I shouldn't laugh at him when he does it) or makes mistakes.

Obviously the hard work will continue but now I can see real progress.

That's fantastic ~ well done to you & Zane. It's such a boost to our confidence when the training pays off & our dog's learn something (& it sticks!).
