Well, this may be just because we only have Tikka just now, but she shows eager interest, but been training her to stay as calm as i can, cant be ar5ed with all the bouncy about, sommersaults etc etc. Luckily she has cornered on fairly quickly that i will not even attempt to put lead on until shes sitting patiently, calm! Oh i,m evil sometimes... hehe

Have been known to put harness on and then go for a cup of tea ( naughty mum )

I used to always wear the same coat, but alternate now The same with boots and shoes

Do I fool this pair ???? Not one bit
I find that so funny here, as soon as I pick up my walking coat......I look round and mine have thier faces against the door, if I pick up any other they go into the kitchen sulking

My two don't turn a hair when I put on harnesses or leads but go absolutely mental when I'm getting my wellies on
I always do wellies last now as we would never get anywhere if I put them on first.

I'm so glad I'm not alone on this one too!

Murphy and Willow start getting exited when they know they are going for a walk, tails wagging frantically and Murphy spins around and patters his paws!!

Then the leads go on!

Well - you would think we were going to a funeral!! They both look so sad
As soon as we leave the house their tails start wagging again and they are happy.

We ofton joke and say in a previous life they must of been funeral directors !!

If you say Walkies to Missy, she cocks her head one way and then the other, as we stand up she will jump in the air once or twice then runs to the sofa ( we do allow her on the furniture) and assumes the "lead" position. Which is back legs on the seat, front paws on the arm , so that my husband - who has a dodgy back - doesn't have to bend to put the lead on. Once the clip is fastened, she jumps over the arm and sits on the mat at the bottom of the stairs, whilst hubby opens the door, and goes out first.

Have to admit that I only have to stand up when it is walking time and I am hit with a noise that would put 30 'normal' dogs to shame.
