Well Chuffed

Because today, my darling Missy who has been scared of sellotape since the day we got her actually managed to "Touch " some.

She used to run and hide under the bed whenever she heard sellotape being taken off the roll, sometimes taking hours to re-emerge.

A little after we moved in here ( 5 months ago) she managed to sit and wait in the same room whilst I tore off a strip.

Today we were unpacking a new mirror, Paul bunched up the sellotape that held the fittings on and he asked her to "Touch" She did, we went wild with praise and she did it over and over.

I feel like so proud of my little girl I even got a video

They do Jen, they do.
The little things show us the great progress she's made - because to her, it was the biggest fear... but not any more

That is such a nice story Pat, well done Missy!! The progress you make with her never ceases to amaze me.

I hope the fear of sellotape was just one of their odd little things, I really do.

Thats excellent progress well done you and Missy - it does show the trust she has in you.

Isnt it strange what some dogs are afraid of and doesnt it frighten at times when you think why? One of my past dogs was frightened of black bin bags and I really dont want to know why!

A excellent post....I am over the moon for you and also for Missey, this is giving her the confidence that she has so much wanted you know what I mean.....

Now she can see that it is no longer a thing to be fearful off......soon she will be fetching the selotape to you when you need it
