Bye bye Pudding :-)

Pudding went back to his owner this afternoon. I got a phone call yesterday to say he was going home. It's only been a short stay, but he's been an absolute pleasure. They were hoping he would be with us a bit longer so he could lose more weight, but they've been very strict with the owner and explained to her how much she should be feeding him. Fingers crossed she's in a safer situation now and able to give him the attention he needs

I think that Tilly (our first foster) was unusual in the amount of time she was with us. The average stay for a dog in the Freedom Project is about 6 weeks.

They've been quite quiet the last week with 10 dogs going home. They've had a referral for a BC, but I don't know if they have plans to bring it to us or not.

I'm going for a walk with my friend and her dog this afternoon. Bryan has been a bit clingy since Pudding left, but he'll perk up once Millie arrives

Thanks guys. Funnily enough I'm not sad at all. Fortunately I seem to be able to not get attached to them so far. I treat them like they are my own dog while they are here, but I know all along they are going to go so it's not been difficult...yet.
