Mitch & Jade (English Springer Spaniels)

Mitch and Jade are a gorgeous pair of 11 year old English Springer Spaniels who were rehomed by Oldies Club in 2006. These girls were much-loved pets, but due to a change in their owner’s circumstances they need to find a new forever home. They are now in an Oldies Club foster home in Lancashire.

Mitch and Jade are both very placid girls with an affectionate and sociable nature. They love to be with people, but can be nervous around little ones so will need a child-free home. They both really enjoy going out for walks or having a good ball game and a trip out in the car is also very much appreciated.

Both ladies are good off-lead and they get along just fine with other dogs, but they will need a cat-free home. Mitch and Jade are devoted pals and spend all their time together, so they are looking forward to finding a new home as a pair.

They are quite a cuddly couple with a few extra inches, but their wonderful foster parents have been giving them gentle exercise and a good diet to trim down their figures. Their new owner should be prepared to continue with this.

Mitch and Jade both have some stiffness in their joints, so they are currently on Metacam. They are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated.

If you would like to find out more about these two, please refer to our Adoption Procedures for information about the adoption process. You can then contact an Oldies Club rehoming co-ordinator as follows:

Email: rehome@oldies.org.uk
Telephone: 0844 586 8656

Mitch & Jade can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but please note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet them.

Fantastic news for these girls - English Springer Spaniel Welfare (ESSW) have made an incredibly generous offer to cover the costs of all medication and veterinary care for existing conditions at the time of adoption (Metacam for arthritis) for the rest of Mitch and Jade’s lives.

They will also cover 50% of other veterinary treatment subject to terms and conditions that will be explained to seriously interested parties. The Oldies Club committee would like to express its sincere thanks to ESSW and hope that Mitch and Jade will now find the loving new home that they deserve.

Due to family illness in their current foster home, Mitch and Jade will be moving to a new foster home in Oxfordshire at the beginning of next month.

Mitch and Jade have moved to their new foster home. They are still looking for their forever home.

Could this thread possibly be moved to the South East please.
