Murphy is going for a proper B.A.T.H.

Since we're showing Murphy next weekend, I decided he would need another B.A.T.H. and a trim of his bottom

But, after struggling to get him into the bathroom last time, and trying to lift him up (he's 5 stone) and into the bath, I thought it was better to get him done properly!

So, he is booked in at a groomers on Monday afternoon

He is going for a bath and a trim and a dry in the drying box (unlike at home where he runs round the garden until dry!). I've been to see the grooming place, and am very impressed. They have a walk in hydrobath, so no lifting dogs into it; and they deal with lots of larger dogs (DDB's, Great Dane) so Murphy should be a pushover

I'm sure he'll look gorgeous. Good luck at the show.

Don't know if it's of any use to you but our local PAH has just installed DIY dog baths, they are all set up and suitable for big dogs but as you do it yourself it's cheaper.

Pepper hates having a bath but at least she's small enough to lift in, mind you I always seem to end up as wet as she is!
