How can you possibly tell from a few pictures?? It says the mum 'lost interest' in her puppies and 4 of them died! Then they fed them weetabix!

Seems to have been an accident, but these accidents should be avoided. What if the westie had been the mum?

I took some time to read the article after getting your comment. Upon research it seems as if they are creating a "new" breed and that the puppies are selling for quite a lot of money.

Not retracting my statement. Just another breeder putting unneeded dogs into the world. Seems like a new "designer" breed about to come about.

And if the Westie had been the mom, then well that would have been BAD. Very much so. BUT it wasn't!

Incorrect.

Quite. The Westie was not the mother - the puppies were born on 11 July and the Westie was due to be neutered and probably has been by now so it cannot happen again.

Four puppies did not survive and the other seven were re-homed by the Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue in Scarborough.

Hardly breeding a new "designer" breed and selling the puppies for " quite a lot of money.

Okay, then. Excellent. Last thing the world needs is another designer breed, anyway. Thanks for the information.

She's not spaying the female dog but is neutering the male. Weird.

Yay! People getting on the newspaper for being stupid isn't new, is it?

Such incredible competence from the owner, feeding Horlix and other crap, and actually after some puppies had died finally going to ask for help. Well done!
