Really enjoyed the series, a nice bit of escapism for a Sunday evening, although sad in parts. I loved Chummy!

Wow, lovely to hear so many people enjoyed it! I bought the book 'call the midwife', will look into her others after...unless there's another first in sequence?
I LOVED Chummy! I thought she was absolutely brilliant! Someone I know said there was an interview on TV recently with some of the actual midwives - anyone know if it's online at all?
