Yes, of course you're correct there, it's 'brand awareness' but when chocoholics like you and me are browsing the confectionary shelves that does subconsciously make one buy the Cadburys product. Well that's how I understood it worked

Possibly, but tbh I'm going to buy chocolate whatever, so ads are more likely to put me off buying chocolate. I couldn't stand the gorilla advert and didn't buy cadbury's for a while because of it, same as the galaxy advert with the girl who's hidden her bar from her flatmates, that annoys me too, hence no galaxy.

But then I have an issue with Galaxy after buying the wrong bar once lol. H will remember lol.

I love Cadbury chocolate but i dont "get" their adverts, i see no relevance to chocolate in any of them (maybe i'm just thick)

I buy Cadbury because i prefer it to Galaxy, nothing to do with the adverts.

Mind manipulation (aka advertising ) has developed hugely in recent years.

I don't have a particular problem with this Cadbury one, but I do object strongly to those that deliberately go out of their way to shock and/or degrade the viewer.

I read about it in the paper before it appeared on tv, it said it was getting loads of hits on You Tube. Anyway it then appeared on tv and I have to say I also find it gross, I don't enjoy watching it at all.
