thank you staffy,am gonna take him vets later as he keeps rubbing it with his paw and i don,t want it to get sore

harley is going to the vets at 5.10pm 2day
poor love is shaking his head like crazy
but i can,t see any swelling or any sting left

Jackie I hope Harley is ok..I expect it is very sore ..should be no big worry now though, if they are going to go into shock they do so instantly in front of your eyes You might try a little pack of crushed ice As Lib says if you can dab with vinegar instantly the dog is stung you can limit the damage

thank you guys

mini we didin,t know he had been stung until bout 6 hrs later when we saw he had a wet neck,he had been asleep in the conservatory,then when we went to feed him we noticed it
i felt so sorry for him little love
i,m glad you told me bout the shock thing cos i was so worried bout that and didn,t know long it would take him to go into shock if it was gonna happen

took harley to the vets,yes he had been stung but where he had kept rubbing it he made it infected and now has some form of ezcema,they tried to shave the side of his face but he was having none of it,so is going in 2morro morning for a local
they gave him a steriod and annitbiotic injection to help
the vet reckons he must suffer from ezcema but we wouldn,t have know as we,ve only had him 4 months and previous owners didn,t tell us,but now we know we can keep on top of it
