restless puppies

when nero and caesar were 8 wks old, it sometimes took them a while to settle down at night. i had them in the bedroom with me, to reasure them. it's amazing what a little company can do for a new puppy in a strange home. i sung them a song i made up, to the tune of brahms lullabye, it went like this.

go to sleep, go to sleep
oh you black and tan b*****s

or i'll kick your little a**e.

it's true, honest,

oh you wicked sod no wonder they went to sleep,


only joking good job they didnt know what you were saying theyd have bit youre butt.

LOL - hmmmm think I could adapt that for my black & tan basket lol

well, they've grown up now, and i've noticed when i give them a command and they ignore me, if i use the "F" word before the comand, they always obey. who says dogs are dumb !!

I sing to my lot all the time. my friends (non-dog) think i'm mad maybe I am???

I sing to Sam when he's in a soppy mood so he's used to it but I was singing along to the Diana concert on Sunday and Rufus kept rushing to the window to see what the terrible racket was esp when I was doing the wooo wooo bits.

i wouldnt even attempt a song,theyd all howl,but i do tell them stories
