Morning walk in the park - lots of lovely pics! :D

Today we went to our usual car boot sale - and decided to take the camera - as last week we were amazed walking home at all the squirrels in the local park at that time of day... and all the other beautiful bits around us. We spent best part of the late morning chasing jays all over the park to get good photos! we didnt get good photos - but we got some - and some lovely squirrel ones. I don't get such good ones of my rats!

anyway - here they are!

First off - this little robin was a spritely chap! flitted and bounced about - and posed for a lovely photo!

Then I saw this gorgeous fungus covered tree stump - and HAD to take a photo!

Then there was this STUNNING plant - I LOVED it and thought you'd like to see it!

Then the pictures of the jays - there were about 10 of these large, beautiful birds there - but they were very elusive! i hardly got any pics - these are the best i got! they're really not great - but these birds are very hard to capture! lol

(showing the colour)

(the back of a jay! )

(flying off - the most common photo of a jay in Singleton Park )

(the best photo i got of a jay - and I was really pleased with this one!)

ALRIGHT!!! and here are the squirrel photos - as promised!

and this one is my favourite!!!

xx

optical zoom and the fact that the animals in Singleton park (next to the uni) are all really fat and tame - and come and attack youfor food - the jays however, are not!
