you know when traing a dog hs become a complete part of your life when....

.....you start trying to give your children treats for being good and doing as they are told!

It happened to me today! My son just looked at me as if I was weirdest person he had ever encountered, and said "my name isn't Lola, Mummy!!!!

When our nephew comes to stay (he's 2) I'll often absent mindedly call him "good puppy" and tell him to "stay" or "sit" with the appropriate hand signals as well

He doesn't seem to mind though!

LOL, that made me smile as i did something similar to my husband the other day. He was going to open something am i used the dog voice on him with the 'AhAh NO!' he just looked at like i had gone soft!!!!!

I've found myself telling people to 'sit'!

If I have visitors instead of saying 'feel free to sit down' or 'do you want to sit down' I've found myself saying 'sit' and then having to apologise
