That's what this chap had been using - the type that's designed to give a dog an electric shock (from a collar) when it gets too close.

Stock fencing for cattle and sheep etc. doesn't come under this law.

Perhaps he doesn't want to see that it doesn't work, just that he's found his magic pill. Could be that he thinks it's a good excuse for him when he keeps going along to the rescue to pick the dog up - look, I'm working on it, I have a magic collar <sigh>

It wasn't but it is now

As you said Rune, the fact that the dog was picked up isn't really a great advert for it is it?

Let's hope he gets a reasonable punishment, and the publicity deters others.
