Chestnuts

I know they've probably got a scientific name, but this is what I've always known them as.

Anyhow, I was wondering if any of you had any tips how to get rid of chestnuts on elbows? He's only just developing them, but as they're from throwing himself down heavily on hard surfaces there's not a lot I can do to stop him from getting them.

Any advice appreciated!

My male used to get these and they were awful, I got told to rub Vit E oil into it which I did, and over a period of time they diminished, but the hair was slightly stained for a while.
