I also know of a KC registered Stafford who is 12" tall, its not as uncommon as you think. Just because the standard dictates that they are to be 14" to 16" doesnt mean they all are. I have seen many under this height as I have over (not Irish bred KC bred dogs).

I once knew an APBT who was from excellent working stock she stood 13" and weighed 20lbs. Her parents were both of a more "normal" height and weight as were her siblings. She was a beauty I will see if I have any pics.

It could well have been a Stafford perhaps a pup. You would know a Stafford straight away anywhere so really you can be the only one who actually knows.
