i feel like my world is ending... i've lost my special mickey rat
today i did the unthinkable.
i let my special little guy go... i hardly know where to begin. i'm in floods at the moment and can hardly see to type 
anyone who ever met mickey will know what a special, wonderful little guy he was... with his silly ears and his fluffy rexy whiskers - but most of all his perfect personality. he was just the perfect rat - my dream boy as it were. he won shows, with his stunning good looks... yet he won nothing more important than my heart.
he was the most wonderful, sweet, gentle little boy, and never once hinted at aggression or nerves. he's always been my pr rat. he used to meet and greet at shows, and everyone loved him - he even achieved a sort of fame.to mickey:
when i took you from your 'breeder' with the intention of breeding from you, i knew i'd done the wrong thing - but when i saw you i couldn't turn you down - i just knew you'd never be breeding material. dare i say, you and your brother ross were the short sharp shocks i needed to see that i wanted to be a responsible breeder - and not just breed randomly.
you were the most amazing, licky little man, and you loved fuss and attention - but never craved it. you were always just there, waiting to be with me, but happy to be with ross if i was busy. i've never had another rat like you, and i don't think i ever will. you took to edward like a duck to water when he lost his brother tubbs - and i only hope ross can find it in his heart to acept other boys, as i don't want him to be alone. he's going to miss you so much. you were the first to give tomago a cuddle, and it just proves that you never had a menacing bone in your body - you were the perfect alpha.
i remember when you were judged at cardiff 2005 - your first show. you were classed as 'underweight'
but you still got a second. i was over the moon, but worried about you being underweight. i found out how to feed you up, and did so. then your next show, you got best dumbo, and everyone thought you were wonderful! you've done sowell at shows, just proving how wonderful you were, but you didn't need to prove that to me, i knew already - and if you'd come last in everything, i would have loved you all the more.i love you little man - don't ever forget that.

don't know what else to say. It sounds like he meant the world to you, you must be devestated.The montage was beautiful. Lots of lovely memories there.
