Another thought do you think the cladding should be white? I am now not so sure about painting it Brown, or would white look odd? Have no idea

if the hall is small or dark then white will make it look brighter........

That's what i thought just seems a lot of white, OH wont take cladding off as he says it is easier to keep clean with the dogs, I hate to say he is right.
