why is it

why is it that tennis balls from a sport shop cost 25p, but tennis balls from the pet shop cost £1.25

Maybe because the ones sold in Pet shops are specifically designed for pets :smt102

I found the one's in pet shops don't last much longer than the normal ones, so the price is not really justified.

its because our dogs kill them so fast that the shopowners are looking to make a pretty penny

max is in a destructive stage he has destroyed all his plastic toys even the supposedly indestructable ones so i am sure he wouldnt waste much time on a tennies ball!!! and the answer to jennys question is because pet shops know how soft we are on our pets and will pay whatever they ask us to

I watch a bit of tennis, and I think that quality matters a lot.....

I hear the commentators comment on the balls.... So maybe that's why they arethat more expenssive.....
