Is there no international dog laws to stop this? or its just left upto what each country decides?

thats horrible.

Thing is, we dont find it acceptable because we keep certain animals as pets. We feel we have a bond with those species so to us its like these people are eating our pets. Though im sure in some countries they keep cows as pets and think we are weird for eating them.

I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as the animal is killed properly (humanely), and as long as it's not someones pet/rescued for that reason. I think they should be bred for eating, like other animals are.
I ate goat while I was on holiday, and my friend called me cruel, but she eats chicken/beef/lamb etc!
I've also eaten horse and rabbit before.

HEVVUR!!!! I've never eaten rabbit or horse, and its commonly sold here. The reason for not eating horse is because most of them come from the big hormone plants in Canada!! and don't eat rabbit cause I've had rabbits before.

I eally don't see how you could say that about dogs!! Its like canibbalism!!

Why is it like cannibalism?
I go to the chinese takeaway, and I eat crispy duck (yum).
Some people have ducks as pets. I used to have a duck as a pet.
I've had and bred rabbits too.
It's all meat! I'm not a vegitarian, and it's acceptable to eat cows/pigs/lambs etc in this country.
Cows are sacred animals to muslims, and they don't eat them. Dogs are pets to people in other countries, so we don't eat them. But meat is food!
