Yes, thats so sad and irresponsible of the breeders . Some of these puppies might be lucky and find good homes even at Christmas.......... but more often than not puppies are bought for children at Christmas and the novelty wears off in a few days, these puppies could end up in rescue...... or much worse! .

SD might be a good idea to contact these people and explain to them the problems with selling Christmas puppies..in a friendly way so not to rub them up the wrong way... they may be ignorant of the facts..I am always amazed how many 'non dog people' are, they just don't think Doing this may just help the puppies

I already have emailed them....although i have to say, maybe not quite as politely as i should have done, but i was so rattled by it!
