Chester and the carpet fitter

Well they have been in the house the last couple of days, and everything has been ok... just abit of growling but still wagging his tail. So we have kept him with us at all times.

Yesterday the young lad was laying the frontroom carpet, and Chester was quite happy to sniff around him... until the guy pushed some carpet out of the way but was moving towards me.

All of a sudden he sort of lunged at the poor lad... growling, so i had to chuck him in the garden... after that lad wouldn't come back in unless i had hold of him.

I reckon Chester thought he was getting abit too close to me as i was only standing in the doorway... about a foot away.

We have now got to be careful who comes in the house now, obviously people he has seen before are ok... just hope they don't move too fast.

I did have to laugh after but its was also abit worrying.

Now there is a tip !!!

If you have a tradesman in your house, charging by the hour.
Have your dog by your side, the job should be done alot quicker.
