This could be age related most older dogs get fat lumps come up and they look like a insect bites. If it turns out to be this the vet will tell you that it's nothing to worry about but it will properly get bigger with time.

Good luck at the vets hope it's not serious

Hope it is nothing more than a fatty cyst. Fingers crossed for your visit to the vet.

We had a good rub-over at him and prodded him a little this morning. It has gone down a good bit and it's difficult to say whether there is much there now (so much neck hair!). We are in town tomorrow anyway, and if there's anything odd in the morning, we'll whisk him in to see his pals Andy and Alan!

I reckon eRaze may have hit it - probably he got a nip when he was rough-housing with his brother. Quite often, Kali will get fed up with the play, but Snorri won't take the hint - and gets sent packing!

We will, however, be keeping a close eye on him!

Snorri's throat is OK again - I found a little bit of hairy scab yesterday, so I'm fairly sure it had been a telling-off from his brother!
