A little bit worried!

Here it is, almost midnight, and I've found a soft swelling on Snorri-dog's throat - and I can't do anything about it

He doesn't seem distressed, but first thing in the morning, it's another look and, if it's still there, phone the vet for an urgent appointment!

It's like an infected insect bite - I know it's a bit late in the year for that, but I got bitten by something last week, something with more than the legitimate number of legs! Probably a horsefly or similar.

I hope it's nothing worse!

Snorri

I'm sure he'll be ok Snorri - sometimes Rocky has little lumps on him but they go and I suspect they are tiny nips he gets from playing rough with his pal Henry.

Let us know how you get on.

Can't see anything (he's a very hairy little chap with a big mane) - also can't get him to stay still for long enough to get a good look (this is usual for him, not necessarily a symptom). However, if I get him up on the vet's table, I ought to be able to immobilise him enough for the vet to look. Mrs S has gone to bed, and she would probably panic anyway

He's acting normally, ate his dinner OK and seems his usual cheery self

I'll update when I can.

Snorri
