Woody, male Staffie, DOB 2008 – Gatwick, West Sussex
Woody, Staffie, DOB 2008 – Gatwick, West Sussex
Homing Requirements: Woody needs a Staffie family who are comfortable with a larger Staffie and his management outside. Woody needs to be retained on an extender as he isn't 100% settled meeting other dogs i.e. some intrusive off lead dogs.
Video: Big love
His Story: Change of circumstance and Woody's owner took him to the vets to be put to sleep. The vet got him signed over and searched for a rescue place and we agreed to take him. The vet neutered him and arranged transport to deliver. Woody is neutered, chipped and fully vax'd. Woody is currently in kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex.
Advert: Woody has polish and is truly splendid! He has excellent skills with children having lived his 8 years with babies through to young children; there hasn't been any incidents of concern. Woody doesn't pull on his lead and despite his size he is a fairly easy walk. We have him around leaded dogs and he doesn't show any concern. His focus is his walk and his companions. Woody is a very amiable character ... always ready to offer a willing smile.
Woody is an 8 year old bigger rich golden brown brindle Staffie with a white scarf and neck tie! Well he does look smart. Woody is a 'chunky monkey' like he is a rugby player. He has a lovely temperament and is everyone's friend. Loves his walks and seems to have got over his nerves around dogs - he is a people person though ... such appeal, simply adorable!
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
