No, I have researched it quite thoroughly and I do not believe the benefits outweigh the risks for me personally.

Maybe when I am older.

Nope. I refuse to have someone jab me with a needle, then feel ill for days afterwards and then get flu a few weeks later anyway. Once was enough thanks.

My mum has it every year but she has heart problems, lung problems and diabetes and needs all the protection she can get since a regular cold lands her in hospital.

Hubby has it because his heart puts him at high risk. He has had it for years, has never had flu and has never had any side effects.
I'm not old enough (quite!!) and I'm not at risk, so I don't have it.

Think first time you get it you may have mild flu symptoms, i never did.

NHS staff get it free on site (usually - or somewhere in your hospital etc Trust). Carers get it too.

Murf - flu jab now incorporates protection against types of swine flu, they rolled that out last year

Anything to avoid the flu.

I have our appointments booked for next week. Was tomorrow but had to cancel as have to be off antibiotics a week (me & my mouth problems)
