Urgent!!

what does the mucus plug look like when a bitch in whelp loses it, and how soon before the pups come does she lose it????

My bitchs mucus plug was opaque white, very stretchy clingy sticky, and she lost it about 4 hours prior to the birth of her first puppy.

The Rottwilers I've seen have the same as Nursey described. But all of my my Guinea Pig's plugs were more creamy colored but still clingy and sticky.

I think jazz lost a jelly baby size & shape white thing, and then ate it, she threw up about 5 mins later, but she is only on day 54

thank god for that!!!! we were at a friends house, when it happened, it was pure white and looked like the shape of a jelly baby
