I read this whilst browsing BBC news a few mins ago, its such a shame all these attacks are happneing.

I feel very sorry for the poor child and of course I do sincerely hope he recovers fully and soon.

Yet I have to admit my main concern is as a dog owner.

We are one step closer to every county in the UK having laws about dogs of the leash in public places, it is a cause for concern.

She added there might have been an element of provocation which would be taken into account.
That bit had me raise my eyebrows, how many other stories on dog attacks include a statement like that ?

I think that story was very well written, they haven't gone for the hype, havent gone over board on the breed and are 'investigating' the circumstances before making a decision on the dog.

The thing that has annoyed me is that they said it was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, but then they say it was a terrier type.......

Great big bro out of the papers so media get back to this
A terrier type could be anything and to name the stafford is hype! I wish these owners would be careful as it going to ruin it for the good owners
