My new staff

I am going to look at a staff that somebody is sellong tonight the dog is 13 months old and a proper staff do you have any advice for me ?

Yes, be careful, make sure you believe the reason given for rehoming, check the background of the sire and dam in the same way you would if you were buying a puppy and ask if the young dog has had his eyes tested.

Of course, if it is from a rescue home they may not know, as they will have to take the original owners word for it. Thing to remember is it may have problems to sort, it may not be house trained and it may not have been socialised.

Take a list of all the questions you are interested in answers to (sometimes you forget once you are there)

ask things like how the dog gets on with other dogs/cats/chldren/ etc
why is he/she being rehomed? etc
