The Dog has got to go...

I went across to the macolet to buy my two Sabbath rolls, came back and The Dog Who Has To Go pulled the small plastic bag off my chair [serves me right for just hanging it on one of the handles] and boogered off with my two rolls.

Hoping that there were still some left I went over again, bought the last one and this time put it in my wheelchair bag and zipped the bag closed.

Took off my bifocals to put them away and one of the lenses fell out...

...and The Dog Who Has To Go got to it before I could.

She will come complete with a bag packed with her toys - and a one-way air ticket.

I have a feeling that she did it once before with a bag of rolls hanging from the handle, which serves me right for being lazy. The thing is that I drive round the macolet and pick out what I want and hang the bags on the handles so I can then hand them over to be weighed/checked/whatever. Heavy things go in Xanadu's proper bag and I really should put all the other things in a proper shopping bag hanging from one of the handles, but of course that is too much work!

As for my specs - I have checked the lens and there is not a mark on it so I will telephone my optician on Sunday morning and ask if someone will pop round to fit it back in for me. It needs a mini mini mini screwdriver to loosen a screw, pop the lens back in and tighten the screw again, and even if I had such a mini mini mini screwdriver I doubt I would be able to see where the screw is!

Malka you have to say one thing , there is never a dull moment when Pereg is around .

Had I been Pereg and the opportunity arose I would probably have run off with the rolls and eaten them too
