Wow that sounds like great fun! Always wondered how those "Springer" type things work and I think you've answered it for me!

And yes I do need photograpic evidence of you falling on your face thank you!

hi guys ,i use a springer on my bike to exercise mishka ,with a tracking harness on her.I walk her for a while b4 i run her with my bike so she does all her toiletes first!!She likes to run fast at first,so is getting level with the front wheel almost to begin with but settles into a lope after this.I find this great fun as she wont run in front of the bike in a racing harness.

That sounds really cool - great way to tire them out I'm sure things will get easier as they get used to what can and can't be done when you are attached to a bike!

Must just say though that I have just had a quick look online to see where you can buy springers from and I came across one person advising that you should use a "pinch" or "prong" collar with a springer - it looks horrific and I'm glad that you were using a harness! I really hope no-one takes this persons advice about prong collars

Here's the website for the Springer thingy!

Thankfully not a prong collar in sight, looks like fun Mys really thinking of getting one now I know it can be done without falling on your face!

my attatchment is a different make to the springer, not sure if it is as good though?...I did look at the springer but it wont fit my bike because I have suspension in the way! That's why I had to get one that fits the seat post instead otherwise I would have prefered the sringer I think
