Good morning Kelly and all to follow. Had a terrible night, so hence had a bit of a lay in. Cant seem to get warm this morning. Have put the gas fire on this flat's night storage heaters are useless.

Hope Kota settles down and you manage to get your shopping.

Have a good day all and please stay safe and well. God bless.

Good morning Kelly, Moyra and all who follow

Hope Kota is settled today and you manage to get your shopping and the video of the limp. I take a list when shopping but still manage to forget bits and have to rush back to get it before checking out

Hope you have a better night tonight Moyra

Very windy here but at least the sun is shinning. Up early and in Tesco by 6.50 am. Surprised by how many people were in there as usually it is quite quiet. Still all unloaded and packed away so a quick coffee then out with Teazle.

Hope all are well stay safe.

Thinking of wallpapering the living room and decorating to my taste which I am re- finding as you know having come home to look after Mom and Dad the taste was theirs and then a mixture so re - finding my feet or as a friend said to me when I said "re loosing" my taste is not everyone's and turning the house into what I want not what it is. Just need to decided what I want. LOL

I have always gone safe/boring but ................watch this space.

Morning griff, Moyra, Sue, Kazz and all to follow.
What a windy night got woken up at around 2 this morning with a bang, a wheelie bin had gone over. Our garden chairs had gone walk about round the garden and the wooden bird table was over. Only damage though thankfully.
Was a very blowy walk with Dillon earlier. Glad to be back indoors.
So far so good with the arm, for us both. No swelling or redness or aches. Feeling fine so hopefully we will be the lucky ones.
Michael was saying they have vaccinated the Teachers in Madrid and then had to close the schools because many of the teachers went down with flu like symptoms.

Hope the sedatives have kicked in for Kota griff.
Glad shoppings out of the way Sue. Enjoy the rest of your day, hope it's not to busy.
Moyra hope you feel better soon.
Kazz there are lots of litter picking groups starting up it seems.
The redecorating sounds fun, sounds like you may be thinking of colourful and bold.

Stay safe everyone.

Morning all. I left it in Kellys capable mits to start the thread this morning as I forgot as I watched Monarch of the Glen early, while eating breakfast. Then went out along a very windy beach but oh so lovely with the rollers coming in and crashing on the stones. Sun is lovely here and streaming through the window. No heating needed yet. Moyra if you are chilly put an extra layer of clothing on, better than heating sometimes. Maybe buy a thermal vest that will help. My daughter found storage radiators useless but then I think electric heating is. Unless the new modern ones. Much prefer gas central heating. Right I have been on this computer for far to long so off to cook sausages and jacket potatoes for lunch with runner beans. Have a good day everyone.

Kazz, you could do one really bold feature wall and then if it pee's you off, not much to redo...mind you my bedroom is neon pink and purple lol. I buy stuff for Steve's house now, his bedroom has wallpaper on one wall that's brown flower pattern and the other walks are white.....I bought teal and duck egg blue bedding for in there as he insisted on cream and brown. I have got yellow paint for the bathroom as it's pale blue at the moment and I find it quite cold, he was objecting to the yellow but he will give in lol.... basically his whole house was neutral, he is coming round to my way of thinking. I am really proud of his gaming room, he let me do that... basically I got the stuff and he put it up/ built it...my best buy was the photograph wallpaper from Lidl.....£10 and it looks absolutely amazing ( he didn't follow the instructions so it took 3 hours)....I am sure whatever you decide will be brilliant
Sue.....I am just settling her down and will get ready....true to form.... it's raining!!
Lynn, so pleased there's no damage.... everything looks o.k here too
Brenda, the walk sounds absolutely lovely
Moyra, hope you have warned up now

Good afternoon all

Bright and breezy here in Skeg, but enjoyed our walk.

Electric storage heaters are pretty rubbish although they cope if it's above 5 degrees outside. When it's under that it needs boosting with our calor heater in the hall.

I'm boring. White ceilings, magnolia walls. Nice and easy to whip over with a roller

Everything in this flat is painted with Dulux Timeless. So I just put anything that has colour. I can alter it if I want to but I like it. Kazz yours sounds good to go and Kelly that sounds great to.
