training classes

millie goes training every week for socialisation - and a play lol!! i train at home - my mum helps me.

anyhow - the course lasts 8 weeks (puppy classes) - and then you can join the next one up - we have been there for 4 weeks (we joined halfway through) - and tonight was the last one

so the lady said to me - i can either join the next class up (proud mummy) or do 8 weeks puppy class.

soooo... dilemma

im going next week in the next class up to see what its like -

part of me wants to go in the next class up as millie is smart and she knows quite alot already for a 4 and a half month pup

anyhow - what would you do in my situation - move up or stay for another 8 weeks (id rather not but she is only young still)??????

well, really it depends. it might be really good for her socialisation to stay with some younger dogs so she can continue to learn her doggy manners, the next class up will still be there later.

however, if you feel she is doing well socialisation wise, then you may find the older dogs will be better for her. Plus she is going to learn more stuff, whereas doing the 8 weeks will leave you repeating half of it twice!!

i would go to the next class up!

it all depends on the dog,but if shes smart then theres no point in wasting your time in the first class,i would go 2 the 2nd

thank you - i really want to move up - but they grow up so quick i dont want her to miss out!!!!!

but - im so bored in the puppy class - sounds nasty i know!!!

i want to do proper stuff - i know she cant do it yet - but were learning and shes very intelligent

as i type this - shes actually fast asleep at my feet snoring her head off, paws running - probably dreaming of her dog friends at training -
