I just bump into random people with dogs, walk along together for a bit and then go our seperate ways. I've never had a problem finding people to walk with in our country park.

Nope, I generally prefer to walk alone but I have started to walk regularly with Aimee (SLB) who has Louie and Sadie. We meet up around once a week and go to an old colliery site where the dogs can have alot of free running and yet still be very safe.

I sometimes (although not lately, must rectify that!) meet up with Tegs Mum who has Teg and sometimes brings Shambles.

With unfamiliar dogs, Flynn is a pain in the backside, he just barks at them and chases them away. He was like that with Louie at first, hated him, but now there is barely a grumble and he's even started to play chase games with him. It takes Flynn a while to get used to new dogs. Other than that I dont have any issues walking mine in a pack.

I do in the winter when we dog walkers get the "Pitch and Putt" course back to ourselves!

It is difficult for me though as Cherry's not keen on large dogs so sometimes I take Parker out on his own as he really enjoys being part of a group of dogs.

His self-imposed role is to supervise the play and if it gets too rough he breaks into the middle and wuffs at the other dogs as if he's saying "Calm down or it will all end in tears!" We call him the "Fun police"!

Regularly we walk with friends and have at least 8 dogs out, all spaniels, on other occasions we arrange spaniel meets and have had up to 4o springers and cockers on these, and yes never a cross word

I'd love to do something like that with Darcy, everyone around here avoids us even though she just wants to play!

I've done group GSD walks in the past but haven't been since they allowed a pro-e-collar trainer to tag along to the last one "selling" his views on them/his training services The dogs did enjoy them but I just haven't felt like going back, left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth to see people talked into using them on their dogs.
Lovely to see the big groups of dogs playing though! My favourite walks were at Harmondsworth with a slightly smaller group of us.

If you ever felt like people avoided you with one GSD, well, people scatter at the sight of these groups

There was the Dogsey Surrey walk I went to as well, which Kiki enjoyed

Yep, the park next to my house is mainly only used by people who live really close to it and its mostly the same people who go there. Most of us know each other and have become friends, so walk around together... we sometimes have 10+ dogs at the weekend all running around happily with each other... they all get on amazingly and there has never yet been any proper squabbles between them.

My dog training club runs them. I actually organise short puppy walks (only once fully covered by vacs) to socialise the pups outside class.

Theres also a forum for my area of a group who arrange group walks
