yeah but Mys, am I not right in thinking that your only going to get possibly the worst characteristics of the breeds you are using (unless the breed isn't known, which in this case I have a long pedigree from both sides, both dogs) you can only get a combination of the breeds you are using. For example there was no chance of the 'intensity' from a collie.
The NI/utes started with the same breeds so will have characteristics only from those breeds. And if the dogs that had the best characters were bred from all the way down the line, then you have an idea of what you are going to get. So there is a possibility of my dogs and your dogs having similar traits not only phenotypically.
Doesn't mean I would encourage people to breed the cross though. I wouldn't say it was for the first time dog owner
