"They're really growing up quickly now aren't they?"

A comment made by my neighbour yesterday.
I didn't have the heart to point out that their growing stopped at least five years ago...probably much longer for Reg

Haha!

I got asked how old my puppy was the other day. They were surprised when I said my puppy was nearly double figures!

Oops I had someone argue with me that my 4 year old dog was definately a puppy. Someone had obviously duped me with a very realistic manequin for the 3.5 years I'd owned her

Awww, that's sweet.
There's no way anyone could mistake Reg for a puppy, he looks like an old grey haired man.
I'm assuming this particular neighbour has never looked at them properly before,
and thought they were pups when I got them last year.
He must be wondering what on earth I've been doing to them to make them age this quickly lol

When I first took on Scooby my neighbours commented that he's got a lot of growing to do. When I pointed out he was 10 years old they didn't believe me!

Lol, there's obviously a lot of youthful looking oldies on this forum!
Just remembered, last week a lady from around the corner asked me if my dogs were related!
Apart from being very similar in size, they couldn't look more unalike if they tried.

Haha I had someone ask if my black and tan terrier cross puppy was my german shepherd x's puppy?!? I'm assuming because they were similar colours. She only seemed to realise her mistake when she saw Bob (the shepherd) was neutered and I told her he was that way when I got him! I'm sure the lady in question went away convinced they were the same breed...
