Rosies new cage.(Netherland Dwarf Rabbit)

Put Rosie in her new cage this morning for the first time and she seems to be loving it. Wasn't too sure how she would be with the ramp at first so I left her for a bit and when I went back her food hadnt been disturbed so I thought she mustn't have sussed it out yet, so I got her out and put her in the bottom bit and she soon found her way to the top again and now she is up and down it every few minutes

And this is the run that attaches to the bottom bit to give her some outside freedom - although I am letting her get used to the hutch first for a day or two.

Thanks CC - yes she seems to be giving it the thumbs up - she has been inside up to now in an indoor guinea pig cage but she was getting a bit big for it so at least the hutch will give her a bit more exercise up and down the ramp

Yes - I am hoping that Binka our male Netherland Dwarf might be able to join her in there one day if he behaves himself

This is what it looks like with the run attached - I was going to let her go in it but I think its going to rain

I love those hutches, they give them so much more room!

And the run is fab too, means you can alternate and keep the grass nice and long now!

Yes it will give her a bit of exercise running up and down the 'stairs' I am hoping to put Binkas hutch outside this weekend and then they can see each other.

Aaaah Foxy, Rosie looks very happy in her new house, it's great the way that run attaches to the front as well! (Be very careful to make sure it fits very tightly, you'd be surprised at the size of a gap a nethie can squeeze through!)

How is Binka now, has he calmed down or is he still attacking in his hutch?

Hi Fluffy - yes we need to put some stone flagstones down yet to even it up a bit and to stop the feet from rotting - I will get him on the job on Friday

Binka seemed okay a couple of days ago and actually wanted to come out of the hutch - although it was pouring down outside so I couldn't let him He was funny again with my oh the same night though and hopped off into his bed when he tried to stroke him. Think he is just a moody bunny
