Boy rescued from 'pitbull' dog attack

Another attack.

I'd like to know why the children were alone with the dog.

A seven year old boy has been rescued from an attack by a pitbull dog after his screams were heard by a man walking by.

Lawal Alhadi broke down the door to the flat, where Jack Wellstead was being attacked, and fought off the animal after it had bitten the child more than 100 times.

Mr Alhadi said going to help was an instinctive decision.

So....someone had to break down the door of a flat to rescue a 7 year old child from a dog? Where were the parents? Or whoever was supposed to be taking care of the child?

Just another statistic I reckon - the full story - well the dogs side of the story won't be listened to, I mean dogs don't just get up and bite a child.

Social services will be all over this one now.

Bitten 100 times and still able to scream? The whole story sounds very odd.
Hope the boy recovers. And the parents prosecuted.

Found another report on it and from what it said he was playing with friends and his mother and her partner live opposite the block where this happened. Sooooo....sounds like not only was this child left alone in the house with a dog it wasn't his house and I'm guessing not his dog.
