I love going to the Cumberland Show which is held in Carlisle, Cumbria.

It is a great day out. There is always an Open Dog Show on, various breed classes for Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Goats etc. Showjumping. Tons of stalls. They have main ring events like Motorcyle display teams/Dancing Diggers and the like. Absolutely fab day, it is in July.

Oh I love country shows. We don't enter any dog shows, but love that we can take Sydney along with us for a day out.

We usually go to the North Somerset Show (but won't be able to go this year because we will be on holiday), try for the Herefordshire Country Fair (July time I think) and also Monmouth show at the end of August. Went to the Berkeley Show last year (quite small but nice for a wander), but always on the look out for others.
Just clicked the link for the Cotswold show - looks tempting and there are a couple of Ridgebacks on the dog show page too.
