Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Another warm morning and getting hotter. Teazle walked, washing out drying and some apple crumbles made and waiting to be cooked. We did quite well in the loft yesterday apart from one mistake which I fortunately noticed before Ben got too far so was easy rectified. Didn't do as much as we thought as a lot of fiddling and cutting to do and it was so hot Ben was melting. Still every little helps

Hope all are well. Stay safe.

Good morning all

Freedom day. Nothing will change with me carrying on as before; makes where I did before and hand washing keeping my distance.
Like all of you hot here although does not seem as humid. Dog walked twice and she is now chilling somewhere I am in the garden moving some raised beds did I say the Summer house had gone? that is where some raised beds are gong and extra floor space for table chairs etc etc more in the sun being North facing has its pro's but also con's. Slowly slowly.

Moyra Have a good day.

Sue busy busy again is hubby helping as well? Hot work in the loft as well I imagine.

To everyone have a good day and catch you all later alligators.

Morning all
Taken Kota for her acupuncture, was very warm at 5.30am!! Got there at 7.30, she had about 20 needles today, was a good girl and didn't flick her needles out, also had a bit of mctimoney too. She made a friend on the way back, the traffic was bad and the fella in the next car was telling her how beautiful she was lol. She's doing so well, 3 weeks until next appointment and then.... hopefully signed off!!! I am so glad Monika agreed to treat her, she's so incredibly kind and gentle with her, at one point Kota was mooing like a cow lol...I was in hysterics.
Just got to decide if I go over to Steve's and have dinner with him and Molly May....mum has to go for a blood test so not sure what to do

Morning Moyra, Sue, Kazz, brenda, griff and all to follow.
Hot here again today to. Had to pop to Lidl and Iceland earlier pleased to say I was not the only one mask wearing in Lidl. All staff were and most customers.
Young girl on the till was relieved most customers were mask wearing, she was a little concerned before getting into work today.

Sue I can imagine the loft must of been very hot, good job you spotted the mistake.
Kazz your garden is going to look so lovely when your finished.
Glad Kota's appointment went well griff and the acupuncture is working.

Stay safe everyone.

Good afternoon all.

Wonderful morning here. Sunny, warm, but not hot, hot, hot.

Still kept to our shady walk though

The majority who live here are still keeping the masks and a lot of businesses have said no mask, no service too. Unfortunately, a lot of the holiday makers seem to think they are safe because they are on holiday <sigh>

A lot quieter than yesterday, thankfully so a nice morning walk.

Waiting for a delivery now which should be here in the next hour or so fingers crossed

Right back in the house for an hour or so now (hottest part of the day) left the windows open and the fan on on the living room so nice and cool I actually had forgotten I had the fan so chuffed. Gert asleep behind me.
Garden coming on well 2 raised beds emptied painted and moved one more to do.

Have a good day all. Lynn I will be wearing my mask in work for the forseeable.

Quite right too Chris. But expect lots will not wear them been a struggle since last lockdown started again to get people to wear them

Chris, all of us are still wearing masks, socially distancing and sanitising, I am going to go to Steve's in a bit and I don't like the idea of someone sitting with me, I won't sit with anyone so I don't want them to sit with me lol.... wasn't keen on that before lockdown. I am hoping that as I am travelling off peak then I will be o.k. need to grab some squash from Sainsbury's and I am good.
