Rico Spinone

A very sad day today. My sister, Abby, lost her not yet 9 year old Spinone, Rico.

Rico was a very naughty puppy who grew up to be a sensible, mummy's boy who was Abby's shadow. He survived a huge operation early today to remove a tumour on his spleen, but was then cruelly taken a short time afterwards by a blood clot.

He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him, but mostly by Abby, who is totally in bits following his passing.

RIP Rico.

So sorry to hear this.

What is it with spleens at the moment.

Spinones (which I love) have to have the most loving and expressive faces of any dog breed.
