Are they herdwicks? I do like them but can't remember which breed they are. I like the cheviots that we have around. Not that I am a sheep buff, you understand lol

They are young Herdwicks. They get greyer as they get older.

If I ever worked Hoki, this colour sheep would certainly help to distinguish what was dog and what was sheep -they're almost her in reverse

I like Herdwicks too, they are the most common up in the Lakes too.

thanks always wondered what breed they were,when we go shows and see them,never asked the farmer in case he thought im thick,lol xxzbx
