Eastenders, Lola - Michael storyline

Clever writing!

Well I do recall them, some time ago (I guess that would be 10 months ago then, lol) getting rather close - I think it was then that Ben realised he was really gay. Whoops. But was left rather open ended and we weren't entirely sure if he'd scored a goal - so to speak - because of his gay storyline.

Lola was a fairly new character then and we didn't know if she was connected *cough* to anyone else.

I guess the only other hotshot could have been Jay, unless someone else is going to pop out of the woodwork. Knowing EE they very well might...

Future guests on Jeremy Kyle!

BTW - found it very moving when they took Lexi... so sad...

Yeah, I think it's brilliant the way they have shown how the 'rich' J&M that people would not be quick to judge are actually the ones who don't love their child.

Hope that Phil does something useful for once and helps her! But it wouldn't surprise me if he tries to get her sent down so he can have custody

What a wonderful young actress Lola is. Its one of the few times something in Eastenders actually sucked me in to feeling it could actually be happenning and I felt very emotional for her.
Lola deserves an Oscar for such a good convincing performance.

I felt quite upset all evening. I agree about the young actress playing Lola - I was quite impressed with her portrayal of giving birth too! I'll be disappointed if she doesn't get an award at the soaps awards.

That young girls acting skills really shone out didn't they?

Such a sad storyline, yet one that I imagine happens in real life all the time.

In real life, I wonder if we'd be saying the baby would be better off away from a wayward mother? No doubt, we'd still all feel the pain of what the mother was going through regardless - or at least I hope so

I thought it was so sad when Lexi was taken... I got very teary!

I agree that the actress who plays Lola is very good.

According to the front page of a magazine, Phil does help her get Lexi back... I didn't read the article though, and everyone knows how they don't always get it right, or word it right.
