Parades End

Anyone else hooked on this period drama starring Ben Cumberbatch ?
Totally hooked, and loving Cumberbatch in it, I never really warmed to him as Sherlock ( too much of a Holmes geek ) but he's tremendous in this, he has such an expressive face, I felt quite moved in last Friday's episode when he had a big fat tear rolling down his face.

I liked it... but found it so slow that I gave up. Let me know if it gathers pace?

It's not as good as the book... but it is enjoyable, he is very good.

I have tried to 'get into it', but I have to admit, it didn't 'do it' for me.

I loved Downton Abbey and am looking forward to that coming back.

I really thought Christopher and Valentine were going to " get it on ", but no, FMF really knew how to stretch out the tension
