Clever Hen

One of our hens disappeared recently (I hadn't noticed tbh ) and anyway she has now turned up with eight little fuzzy surprises

I have no idea where she has been hiding out, but she has done very well to hatch eight of these all by herself

aw that's lovely, what a clever girl, so cute too!

I have a new love for hens, my parents have some and i've just been looking after them for a week when they were on holiday, they're back now and i'm missing them! they are all very tame and greet you all stood round the gate in a perfect semi circle clucking, then follow you for corn chatting away to you - just lovely!

Thanks both, they are very cute. I will try and get some close up shots tomorrow.

Hens do seem to be addictive Lucy Do you have room for a few in your back garden?

No It's too small, well... too small to build a massive secure house and run for them to keep them safe from 2 Akitas .
